SolTrans Public Advisory Committee
SolTrans is seeking applicants in order to fill three vacancies on the Public Advisory Committee. Anyone interested in being considered for appointment may obtain an Application Form from one of the following:
For residents of Benicia: Contact the Office of the City Clerk of Benicia, 250 East L Street, Benicia, CA 94510, by calling (707) 746-4200, or by emailing the City Clerk at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For residents of Vallejo: Contact the Office of the City Clerk of Vallejo, 555 Santa Clara Street, Vallejo CA 94590, by calling (707) 648-4527 or by emailing the City Clerk at email@example.com.
To be eligible for appointment, persons must be residents of the City of Benicia or Vallejo. The City Council of Benicia will appoint one member of the public and the City Council of Vallejo will appoint two members of the public with demonstrated expertise or special interest in transit issues to fill the vacancies.
The Public Advisory Committee serves as an advisory committee to the SolTrans Board and reviews and comments to the SolTrans Board on the following matters:
- Service and fare adjustments
- Development of Short Range Transit Plans
- Review of SolTrans annual work plan
Applications will be received until vacancies are filled.
