New Local Passes

On Sale Now in Vallejo! New Local Passes make it simple to ride…

The new Local Passes can be used on Local Bus Routes 1 through 7, and limited service routes 12, 14, 15 and 17.

31-Day Passes

The new LOCAL 31-Day Pass has replaced the Local Monthly Pass. The 31-Day Pass is good for unlimited rides for 31 days from the date it is first used (validated). This means you can buy a pass today and not use it for the first time until you are ready.

The first time you use a new Local 31-Day Pass, simply insert the pass in the farebox card slot at the top.

The back of the pass will show you the first day you used the pass and the last day the pass will be good.
After the pass is validated, simply swipe the pass through the card swipe each time you ride the bus.

10-Ride Passes

The new LOCAL 10-Ride Pass has replaced the Local 10-Ride Punch Pass.

To use your 10-Ride Pass, simply insert the pass in the farebox card slot each time you ride.  The number of remaining rides will show on the back of your pass.

Your old 10-Ride Passes can be used on the bus until they expire on 7/31/2013.

Day Passes

The new LOCAL Day Pass has replaced the Local Punch Day Pass.

Insert the Day Pass in the farebox card slot the first time you use it. After the pass is validated, simply swipe the pass through the card swipe each time you ride.

Your old Day Passes can be used on the bus until they expire 12/31/2013.

Important Details:

  1. New Passes are valid for travel on SolTrans LOCAL bus routes 1 through 7, 12, 14, 15 and 17.

MTC seeking public comment on plan growth, transportation

OAKLAND, CA, March 22, 2013 . . . The Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) today released the Draft Plan Bay Area. Nearly three years in the making, Plan Bay Area is an integrated long-range transportation and land-use/housing plan that will support a growing economy, provide more housing and transportation choices, and reduce transportation-related pollution in the San Francisco Bay Area. The effort grew out of the California Sustainable Communities and Climate Protection Act of 2008 (California Senate Bill 375, Steinberg), which requires each of the state’s 18 metropolitan areas – including the Bay Area –  to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from cars and light trucks.
