NEW for SolTrans Paratransit : ADA In-Person Eligibility Assessment Process

Effective July 1, 2013

SolTrans and all the Solano County Operators, in partnership with the Solano Transportation Authority, are implementing a new In-Person ADA Eligibility Assessment Process.  The old paratransit paper application will no longer be used.

Our goal is to reserve ADA Paratransit service for persons with disabilities that prevent them from using the fixed-route public bus system.  This will simplify the application process for applicants,  establish an accurate standard countywide.

The new Countywide In-person ADA Eligibility Assessment Process becomes effective July 1, 2013.

We invite the public, current and prospective paratransit riders, caretakers, and human service providers to attend one of five Community Presentations in June to learn more about how the process will work.

We also invite you to the Open Houses at the Vallejo Transit Center on June 10, and the Benicia Library on June 11, 2013 to see the assessment locations and meet the C.A.R.E. Evaluators assessment team.
