Bay Bridge Closure

The San-Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge will be Closed
Labor Day Weekend 2013
8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3

The Bay Bridge will be closed to take the original East Span out of service and to open the new East Span to traffic.  Details about the closure can be found here:

Take SolTrans to BART!

SolTrans Routes 78, 80 and 80s provide regular service to BART stations in Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, and El Cerrito del Norte:

Vallejo Transit Center / Benicia / Pleasant Hill BART / Walnut Creek BART

Monday through Friday:  6 am – 7:55 pm
Saturday:  6:35 am – 9:35 pm
Route 80

Vallejo Transit Center / El Cerrito del Norte BART

Monday through Friday:  4:27 am – 10:54 pm
Saturday:  6:05 am – 11:01 pm
Route 80s

Vallejo / Benicia / Walnut Creek BART

Sunday:  7:58 am – 7:17 pm

San Francisco Bay Ferry supplemental bus service on Route 200 will not operate during the closure.  For details about Ferry service, please visit

The following regularly scheduled departures will be replaced with Ferry service Wednesday, August 28th:  From the Vallejo Ferry Terminal – 7:00 pm, 9:30 pm.  From the San Francisco Ferry Building – 8:00 pm, 10:30 pm.  All regularly scheduled supplemental bus service on the Route 200 will resume once the Bay Bridge reopens for traffic on Tuesday, September 3, 2013.
