Press Release: SolTrans Outreach for Proposed Schedule Changes on Route 1 & 3

SolTrans staff is currently conducting outreach efforts concerning proposed changes aimed at addressing on-time performance issues on Routes 1 and 3. Responding to concerns about scheduled adherence on Route 1, proposed schedule adjustments to the route will address changing traffic conditions and preponderance of slower boardings at stops along the route.

SolTrans is seeking feedback from riders through February 14, 2014. Those interested in commenting on the proposed changes may do so by emailing your comments to info@soltransride.com,by calling (707) 648-4666, by writing to SolTrans Administrative offices at 311 Sacramento Street Vallejo, CA 94590, by submitting comments on the website at www.soltransride.com, or by submitting comment cards in person at the Vallejo Transit Center ticket office.

Open House: SolTrans Curtola Park & Ride Hub

You are invited to attend an Open House!

SolTrans will construct improvements to modernize and expand the existing park and ride lots on Curtola Parkway on either side of Lemon Street in Vallejo.  This project will increase parking supply, improve transit operations, enhance security, facilitate casual carpool, and modernize on-site passenger amenities.  SolTrans is hosting an open house to discuss the design for these improvements.

This is your chance to hear more about the final design of the new facility, and learn about the next steps for the project and how this may affect your neighborhood.  Project staff will be available to answer your questions about the planned improvements.

Route 200: Last departures New Year’s Eve

If you ride SolTrans Route 200 on December 31, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. or 10:30 p.m., please check in with a SolTrans supervisor who will be stationed at the regular ferry bus stop.

The stop *may* be blocked due to New Year’s Eve festivities. In the event the bus cannot make it to the ferry building stop, the supervisor will direct you to a temporary stop. Should you have any questions, the after hours dispatch number is 707-648-4672.
