Load a NEW Clipper card with a SolTrans 31-Day Local or Multi-zone pass during the month of June 2015 and SolTrans will waive the $3 fee!
(The $3 Clipper card fee waiver is only available at the Vallejo Transit Center Ticket Office.)
Clipper makes it easy to ride transit in the Bay Area. Watch this instructional video, featuring Clip, the Clipper card. Clip asks: Where shall we go?
Clipper is an all-in-one transit card that keeps track of any passes and cash value that you load onto it, while applying all applicable fares, discounts and transfer rules. This lets you customize your card for your own transit needs. A Clipper card makes boarding faster, eliminates the need to carry exact change, and can be registered for added protection in case it’s lost.
You may use Clipper on many public transit services all over the San Francisco Bay Area, including BART. The newly participating transit agencies include SolTrans, Fairfield and Suisun Transit (FAST), Vacaville City Coach, the VINE, and the Vallejo San Francisco Bay Ferry.
Clipper offers discount cards for youth, seniors and people with disabilities.
For more information, call Customer Service at (707) 648-4666 or visit our Clipper page.
Please note that Clipper charges the multi-zone fare on all multi-zone routes (Routes 78, 80s, 80 and 85). Riders traveling locally (Benicia to Vallejo) on Route 78 or 80s should use a SolTrans pass or pay the cash fare to receive the local fare rate.
Youth Day Passes can be purchased for same-day use on board SolTrans Local routes.
Youth 31-Day passes available at the Vallejo Transit Center through June 31st. Unavailable at other sales outlets, quantities are limited.
Promotional passes expire 9/1/2015. Promotion not valid on Solano Express. No refunds or exchanges.
31-Day Youth passes purchased after 8/1 will expire on 8/31, and will not be available for purchase after 8/5.
Request for public comment on proposed elimination of Route 12
Route 12 operates with one regular morning trip and one afternoon trip, with service to Severus Drive, Meadows Drive, Jack London, Drive, Mini Drive, and Solano Middle School in the morning and afternoon, and service to Vallejo High School in the afternoon. Ridership has declined significantly this year, compared to the previous years. With increased services levels on Route 1 serving Rancho in Vallejo every 30 minutes all day, students can now travel directly on Route 1 to or from Vallejo High School or transfer between the Route 1 and the Route 2 at the Sereno Transit Center for Solano Middle School. Although the Route 12 may be eliminated, students will still be able to make their trip on Route 1 and Route 2 with limited change in travel times.

SolTrans will be hosting an Energizer Station as part of SNCI’s participation in the Bay Area’s 21st Annual Bike to Work Day, held on May 14, 2015.
Riding a bike has many advantages like healthier living, reducing one’s carbon footprint, and an affordable transportation alternative. Biking to work is a great way to fulfill the requirement of 30+ minutes of physical activity per day needed to stay healthy.
Biking is for everyone. You don’t need special clothing, you don’t need special equipment, and you don’t need to already be in shape to take up biking. All you need to do is find your motivation and jump on. It could be anything from reducing stress, losing weight, helping diminish global warming, or having bragging rights at the water cooler on the most distance traveled on a bike. Bike riders come in all different shapes and sizes, and no one should feel limited by their size, attire, equipment or speed. Bike riding is an equalizer and all are accepted.
Bike to Work events will take place throughout the month of May including a Team Bike Challenge and Bike Commuter of the Year Awards. Energizer stations will be set up throughout Solano and Napa counties on Bike to Work Day.
Bike to our Energizer Station to get free snacks, a reusable canvas bag, bicycle information, and good cheer!
