SolTrans supports the Arts in Vallejo with FREE bus rides to the Art Walk

Vallejo, CA – The Vallejo Art Walk is back for 2018! In an effort to support the community and the arts in Vallejo, SolTrans will be offering free rides every 2nd Friday of the month on all local routes. SolTrans invites all to join the activities in downtown Vallejo on April 13th, May 11th, June 8th, July 13th, August 10th, September 14th, October 12th, November 9th, and December 14th from 4 PM until the end of local bus service (local fixed routes only) by showing your “Art Passport” for the event. You can print your passport at the SolTrans website and click the Vallejo Art Walk link or at the Vallejo Art Walk website (www.VallejoArtWalk.com).

Most of the talented artists are located in the central core of the downtown Vallejo, a very walkable distance from the Vallejo Transit Center. Just hop on one of our local routes with your Art Walk Passport to downtown Vallejo to be immersed in some of the best talent the bay area has to offer.

Program Analyst for SolTrans, Mandi Renshaw had this to say about the Art Walk; “Our main focus at SolTrans is to help get our riders to where they want to go. By making it easier and more convenient for people to attend community events like the Art Walk, we hope to inspire people in the community to come out and experience them. We want to get you out and about in our community. We’re excited to be a part of Art Walk and other great upcoming events in both Benicia and Vallejo, and hope to take our riders to new places!”

Come join SolTrans at the next Art Walk and maybe you will help discover the next artist to come out of the San Francisco Bay Area or at least find that piece that will help make your house a home.
