SolTrans Revising Local Routes & Services: Request for Public Input

Vallejo, CA – SolTrans would like to invite the public to assist with the revising of local service. SolTrans staff will host several public meetings and workshops to improve its local routes, the General Public Dial-A-Ride and Local Taxi Scrip services. Your feedback will ensure that we are providing the best service to connect customers to the places they live, work and visit.

Public meetings will be held on the following dates and times:

In addition, workshops will be held at Solano Community College – Vallejo (545 Columbus Pkwy, Vallejo CA, 94606) on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM and Benicia Farmers Market (1st St, Benicia, CA, 94510) on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. More workshop dates and times will be announced.

Unable to attend? Please visit and leave your local service suggestions in the comment form. Information from the public meetings, workshops and public input will be used in a study to improve SolTrans’ local service. All service change proposals will be brought back for public comment in the winter of 2018.

Solano County Transit (SolTrans) has been the public transportation provider for south Solano County since July 2011. SolTrans provides local and regional fixed routes, complementary paratransit, dial-a-ride service, and subsidized taxi programs. The agency is a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) that is governed by a six-member Board of Directors, composed of two representatives from the cities of Benicia and Vallejo, Solano County’s representative on the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), and a representative from the Solano Transportation Authority.
