Benicia Open House: SolTrans ADA In-Person Eligibility Assessment Site

Starting July 1, 2013, SolTrans, and the Solano County Transit Operators, in partnership with the Solano Transportation Authority, will implement in-person eligibility assessments for all new and re-certifying applicants seeking Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) paratransit service.

You are cordially invited to SolTrans’ Open Houses in Vallejo and Benicia to see the new ADA assessment locations. The Team of C.A.R.E. Evaluators will be available to answer your questions.

We will be serving light refreshments and hope to meet you there!

New ADA In-Person Eligibility Assessment Process

You are invited to learn more about a new Countywide In-person ADA Paratransit Eligibility Assessment Process. Starting July 1, 2013 all new applicants and paratransit riders who wish to re-certify will be assessed using the in-person process. This will reserve ADA Paratransit service for persons with disabilities that prevent them from using the fixed-route public bus system.

SolTrans Curtola Park & Ride Hub Public Meeting

May 26, 2015 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

SolTrans is seeking comments about the new amenities and improvements to the SolTrans Curtola Park & Ride Hub and parking fees for funding their maintenance.

Key features will include expanded parking, a transit center with restroom, security cameras, LED lighting, new furniture and canopies in passenger waiting areas, electric car charging stations, real time bus departure electronic signs, bike lockers and more.

Solar infrastructure is being implemented with the goal of making the facility energy neutral.

SolTrans plans to charge $3 per day or $40 for a monthly permit to fund the operation and maintenance costs once the facility opens to the public. Staff expects approximately half of the 580 spaces will be reserved for monthly permit holders.

We would like to hear from you about the new parking fees, and invite you to attend the meeting.  If you are unable to attend, please call 707-553-4855 and leave your questions or comments for our staff, or complete a comment form on our website.
