This short video shows the projects Regional Measure 3 will finance in the Bay Area:

If approved by a combined majority of all voters, these projects will be financed by a $1 increase in tolls on the Bay Area’s seven state-owned toll bridges beginning Jan. 1, 2019, followed by a $1 increase in January 2022 and another $1 increase in January 2025.

SolTrans Welcomes the USS Emory S. Land to Vallejo

SolTrans is proud to be part of the planning for the welcome of the USS Emory S. Land to Vallejo and Mare Island for routine maintenance with Mare Island Dry Dock for the Summer. If you would like to help welcome in the ship as they cruise up Mare Island Straits at approximately 1:00 on May 31st, SolTrans can get you there!

The Vallejo Transit Center serves most SolTrans bus routes (with the except of route 20 and school routes 15, 17 and 38) and the transit center is only a short walk to the waterfront. Since parking may be limited due to the historic return of a U.S. Naval Ship to Mare Island consider utilizing a SolTrans bus to come downtown and help welcome the crew to Vallejo.

“The entire SolTrans staff is excited about being a part of this community outreach to the sailors that will be calling Vallejo home for the next couple of months, so we hope everyone comes out and helps welcome them.” said Beth Kranda, Executive Director of SolTrans.
