Are you interested in upgrading your wardrobe at cheap and discounted prices? Do you find yourself wanting new decorations for your home or needing durable furniture to replace worn out pieces? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then look no further because thrift stores are the one stop shop for all of your needs.

Thrift shops offer a wide variety of products, from clothing, footwear, furniture, and home decor. Although the condition of the products may range from ‘like new’ to ‘slightly used,’ employees make sure that these items undergo a thorough quality control process. This ultimately means that you’ll always be getting the best bang for your buck since merchandise is priced below department store costs but at the same standard of quality.

Why else might you want to visit thrift stores? If you’re lucky like some avid thrift shoppers, you may even find collectibles or valuable memorabilia. A lucky man in Phoenix struck it rich with a rare find, noticing that there was a vintage watch being sold for 6 dollars. He found out that the watch he had just bought, a 1959 Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Alarm, was valued at around $35,000. He was certainly happy that he went to his local Goodwill that day!

Additionally, buying used products promotes a sustainable way of living. Instead of buying new products that can contribute to pollution or textile waste, you’re reducing and reusing. Aside from shopping at places that sell used goods, you can also be eco friendly by taking our buses. Using any form of public transit would result in lower rider emissions, which makes it beneficial to utilize public transportation. To motivate you even further, we’ve made a small list of thrift shops around Solano County that you can get to using our fuel-efficient buses:

  • Happy Tails Thrift – 825 Springs Rd, Vallejo, CA 94591 (Route 7B)
